solidian Briksy AR 150, AR glass bed joint reinforcement was used in the autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) masonry walls constructed by Konca İnşaat for the Turkish Airlines’ Administrative Building project at Uşak Airport in Türkiye.
As part of the Turkish Airlines Administrative Building project at Uşak Airport, solidian Briksy AR 150, alkali-resistant glass fibre reinforcement was incorporated into the AAC masonry walls constructed by Konca İnşaat. The application comprised 20 cm thick AAC walls measuring 5.00 m in length and 4.20 m in height. The 150 mm wide reinforcement was integrated into the horizontal masonry joints, providing distributed reinforcement within the wall assembly. The reinforcement helps distribute tensile stresses and control crack formation associated with shrinkage, temperature variations and differential movement. Its non-metallic composition eliminates the risk of reinforcement corrosion, while its lightweight structure facilitates handling and installation during masonry construction.
