solidian Briksy AR 75, alkali-resistant glass fibre reinforcement was used in the brick masonry walls constructed by Tuna Grup İnşaat and Esen İnşaat Taahhüt for the urban transformation project in Bayraklı, İzmir, Türkiye.

The application comprises brick walls measuring 13.5 cm in thickness and 3.65 m in height. Installed in the horizontal masonry joints, solidian Briksy AR75 helps distribute tensile stresses and control cracking associated with shrinkage, temperature variations and differential movement. In Türkiye’s urban transformation projects, where seismic resilience is a key priority, reinforcing masonry walls is an important part of a comprehensive approach to building performance. Its non-metallic composition eliminates the risk of reinforcement corrosion, while its lightweight structure facilitates handling and installation during masonry construction.
