We carried out this project in İzmir together with Arı Yalıtım and Evren Havuz. Instead of conventional steel reinforcement mesh, we used our non-metallic reinforcement solution with enchanced surface for superior bonding, solidian Primafloor 130 +. The application was implemented in the pool slab, pool walls, and pool machine room, all of which are exposed to high humidity and continuous water contact.

 

In conventional reinforced concrete systems using steel reinforcement, corrosion-related cracking, concrete cover damage, and increasing maintenance costs become major long-term issues, especially in swimming pools, spa facilities, technical rooms, and concrete elements exposed to permanent moisture. By using the solidian Primafloor 130 + system in this project, a completely corrosion-free reinforcement solution was successfully implemented within the structure.

 

Thanks to its enhanced surface, solidian Primafloor 130 + provides high bond performance with concrete. During installation, the product offered significant on-site advantages through its lightweight structure and easy handling properties. Its low weight accelerated transportation and placement processes, while cutting and installation operations were carried out much more practically compared to conventional steel reinforcement systems.

 

The non-metallic reinforcement system used in this project also offers a sustainable solution for structures designed for long service life due to its electromagnetically neutral behavior and high durability.
