In this project at a seaside private villa in Antalya, Türkiye, carried out in collaboration with our partner Omnis Kompozit, high-performance and corrosion-free reinforcement systems were selected, taking into account the aggressive environmental conditions caused by seawater exposure, high humidity, and continuous contact with water.

Within the scope of the application, the pool retaining wall was strengthened using solidian GRID Carbon to control cracking and deformations caused by hydrostatic pressure, temperature variations, and marine environmental effects.

Thanks to its high tensile strength and elastic modulus, the carbon fiber reinforcement mesh provided an efficient thin-section strengthening solution. Unlike steel reinforcement, GRID Carbon is completely corrosion-resistant, ensuring long-term structural performance without the risk of deterioration due to seawater exposure.

For the pool terrace floor, solidian Primafloor fiberglass mesh was applied to enhance the crack resistance of the screed layer against shrinkage and thermal stresses while fully eliminating corrosion-related risks. The use of solidian Primafloor prevented issues commonly associated with steel reinforcement, such as rusting, surface damage, and reduced durability, resulting in a stable and long-lasting flooring system.

Through this application:

  • Corrosion risks in a seaside and water-intensive environment were completely eliminated,
  • A high-strength and controlled reinforcement solution was achieved for the pool retaining wall,
  • A durable, crack-resistant, and long-lasting terrace flooring system was created.

As a result, solidian GRID Carbon and solidian Primafloor once again demonstrated their effectiveness as advanced, corrosion-free engineering solutions, delivering durability, safety, and long-term performance even in highly demanding seaside villa applications.
